Breakdowns in the Political Order and Displacements Due to War
By Dominique Linhardt, Cédric Moreau de BellaingEnglish
As an introduction to the topic of the issue, we outline in this paper the matters and assumptions of a sociology unstable political forms, as they are given to see in contexts caught in the gap between war and peace. With this regard, we emphasize the benefits we expect from paying attention to phenomena of disconfinement and resocialization of war, observable, beyond the case of the “new wars”, through types of actions and devices that conform to a rationality of war and, simultaneously, coexist with the expectation of an at least relatively stable political order. We also insist on certain lines of analysis of the interactions between rights, violence and institutions apparent in such configurations.
